Examples

By far the easiest way to learn JavaScript is by example and, more specifically by modifing existing scripts to do what you want.

The software comes supplied with examples in the $OASYS/ programme_ library/examples directory (for T/HIS $OASYS/this_library/examples ) and you are free to use and modify these files for your own purposes.
