Search
From v23 onwards, REPORTER features search bars in several menus to help you navigate faster. The search in all dialogs apart from the Logfile dialog works in a "fuzzy" way, allowing small differences between your search text and the matching results. All dialogs allow search in a case insensitive manner.
1. The Choose a Template dialog search bar will filter through the recent files and the library templates in the "All" tab at the same time. The search results will be cleared every time you switch tabs or you close the dialog. If you're in a different tab than "All", when you search, the tab will automatically switch to the "All" tab. If you wish to search on a template type basis, you can add this extra filter from the filters tree.

2. The Variables dialog will now allow you to both sort the results by clicking on the header names and to filter the items via the bottom search bar. The search will still work dynamically if you add/delete/edit variables. The search results will be cleared when you close the dialog or when you press the "X" button (valid for all other search bars).
3. The Logfile dialog will move you to the position of the first search result and allow you to navigate the other options via the top up and down arrows.

4. The Main Window is now featuring a global search bar which will match against relevant actions/submenus, as well as allowing you to redirect the query to the Choose a Template dialog or to the in-document search. This search bar can also be accessed via the key shortcut "CTRL+Shift+F".
