Lighting

In D3PLOT 17.0, we've added a Lighting panel to the Properties panel. Within this panel you will be able to control all 8 available lights brightnesses and positions instead of having to switch over to the old lighting panel.

Each light has a main switch, brightness slider and a "Set..." button which when pressed takes you to that particular light's sub-panel. Within this sub-panel you can still control the brightness of that light but also it's vector. This can be controlled either by imputting data into the text box however it's been built so that you can now more interactively control the position via the "Theta" and "Phi" sliders (spherical coordinates). This means that you no longer have to work out a sensible light vector or position, you can just experiment with the slider controls to get a light in a position that looks about right for your model. These sliders have also been placed within the original Lighting panel.
